Pfarralm
3.7About
The hut is family-friendly and opens year-round. It serves simple meals—soups, schnitzel, Kaiserschmarrn—alongside local beer and soft drinks. Overnight capacity runs to 60 guests across mixed dormitory and private rooms. Pit toilet facilities and basic showers are available. The hut offers good value and rarely feels crowded even in July and August, as it sits below the traffic heading to higher peaks.
Book directly by phone or in person. Reservations aren't essential outside peak summer weekends, though calling ahead on Friday for Saturday stays is sensible. The hut operates under the Austrian Alpine Club (OeAV) system. July and early August can see school group bookings on weekdays.
