Chalet de la Figlia sits at 2,050m in the Massif de la Vanoise, accessible from the village of Pralognan-la-Vanoise. The approach takes 2.5 hours on foot from the village, following a well-marked trail through larch forest and alpine meadow. In winter, the hut can be reached via ski touring from Pralognan. The hut is managed by FFCAM and operated as a staffed refuge during summer months (mid-June to mid-September). It sleeps 20 people in shared dormitories. Meals are prepared daily and include hearty dinners and packed lunches for mountaineers starting early. There is no shower facility, but washing water is available. The hut runs on solar power and a small generator. A small shop sells basic supplies, though bring everything you might need for off-season visits.
