Refuge de Bramanette
2.6About
The hut has 30 beds in shared dormitories. Managed by FFCAM, it offers half-board (dinner and breakfast) or full board with packed lunch. Water comes from a spring. The toilet facilities are basic but adequate. There is no shower. The refuge opens from June through September, depending on snow melt and weather. Check opening dates before planning your trip, especially in early June. Meals are simple but hearty—expect soup, stew, pasta, and cheese.
Book directly with the refuge by phone or email at least one month ahead for July and August weekends. July and August weekends fill quickly. Friday to Sunday stays in peak season often book out completely. Phone ahead even with a reservation to confirm your arrival time and any dietary needs. The refuge can usually find space midweek or in shoulder months (June and September) with shorter notice.
