Bivouac Baitello dell'amicizia
2.9Bivacco Baitello dell'amicizia
About
The shelter sleeps around 10 people on a first-come basis. There is no water, food, or heating inside. Bring everything you need: water, a stove, fuel, sleeping bag, and insulation mat. The roof and walls will keep weather out. The bivouac works best as an emergency shelter or for self-sufficient parties doing long mountain days in the Orobie Alps. Winter access is unreliable due to snow and avalanche risk.
Contact the managing CAI section in advance if you need current conditions. Call to confirm the hut is accessible and not damaged. Arrive with a full pack and expect to be completely independent. This is not a place for casual hikers or anyone needing services.
