About
This is a walkers' bivouac, not a rifugio. It has a basic interior and drinking water on-site. Use it as a staging point for ridge walks and scrambles into the high Orobie, or as an emergency shelter on longer valley crossings. The bivouac operates year-round, though snow makes access difficult from November to April. Bring your own food, sleeping bag, and stove.
Contact the hut directly by email or phone before arriving. There is no formal booking system—arrive and use the shelter on a first-come, first-served basis. Summer weekends can fill quickly, especially among local clubs. Go midweek if possible. Winter ascents require mountain experience and proper gear.
