About
This is a small, unmanned shelter with 10 beds across simple dormitory-style accommodation. There is no warden, no meals, and no water on site—bring everything you need. The hut provides basic protection from weather and is suitable for parties self-sufficient in food, fuel, and navigation. Expect no services beyond a roof and sleeping space. The shelter is open year-round but is most practical to use during the hiking season from June through September.
Bivacci operate on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no formal booking system or contact point. Arrive with a headtorch and full supplies, especially water. Winter approach requires mountain skills and correct avalanche assessment. Check conditions locally before planning your visit, as access and shelter status can change with season and weather.
