About
The hut has 12 beds split across small rooms. You get showers and flush toilets—proper facilities for a mountain refuge. Half-board is available. The hut operates year-round but sees most traffic June through September. The CAI Bergamo section manages it. Winter visits need coordination with the keeper, as some years the hut closes or reduces availability. This is working mountain hut terrain, not a tourist destination.
Call ahead to book, especially for weekends and July–August. The keeper responds to phone calls during daylight hours. The remoteness and small size mean you need real plans—show up hoping for a bed and you will leave disappointed. This is a hut for climbers tackling the surrounding peaks, not casual walkers.
