About
The refuge holds 32 beds across shared rooms. Full meals are served, and water comes from the valley stream. The hut operates year-round, though winter visits require advance notice since staffing is seasonal. It's a working base rather than a destination in itself: conditions are functional and the emphasis is on the walking.
This CAI-managed hut books through rifugio.net or directly with CAI Torino. July and August fill 4–6 weeks ahead. Outside summer, booking is straightforward. Ring ahead in winter to confirm opening. The hut works best as part of a longer trip through the Orco Valley rather than a standalone visit.
