Alpenrose

Alpenrose sits at 1,878m in the Trentino-Alto Adige region, accessible via established hiking trails from the valleys below. The approach takes 2–3 hours depending on your starting point and fitness. The hut serves as a solid base for day walks across the surrounding ridges and peaks. Multiple routes radiate from here into both the Dolomites and limestone plateaux typical of this region.

The hut holds 80 beds across mixed dormitories and private rooms. Meals are prepared daily—book your dinner and breakfast when you reserve. Facilities include hot showers, heating, and a simple dining room. The kitchen can handle vegetarian and standard Alpine diets; notify them of dietary needs when booking. Alpenrose operates year-round, though winter access depends on snow conditions and avalanche stability.

Book directly by email or phone as soon as your dates are fixed, especially for July and August weekends when the hut fills 4–6 weeks ahead. Shoulder seasons (May–June, September–October) offer more flexibility. Confirm your arrival time and expected dinner hour to avoid arriving to a closed kitchen.
