Cabin Sociale Val Vallaro

Capanna Sociale Val Vallaro sits at 1,455m in the Val Vallaro valley system of Trentino-Alto Adige. Reach it via the village of Vallaro; the final approach is a 1.5-hour walk from the road end. This is straightforward terrain suitable for winter approaches when snow-stable. The hut anchors access to traverses across the surrounding ridges and scrambles on modest peaks in the 2,000–2,400m range.

The rifugio sleeps 16 people across shared rooms. Meals and drinks are available; the kitchen handles both full board and packed lunch requests. Flush toilets are installed. The season runs from spring through autumn; confirm opening dates before arrival. The hut sits in useful position for ski touring and summer ridge walking, though it is not a major hub like larger valley rifugios farther south.
