About

Moro Aldo sits at 2,565m in the Valle di Fiemme, reached via a 2–2.5 hour hike from Passo Rolle. The approach is straightforward: head north from the pass on marked trails through open alpine terrain. This is a simple bivouac hut, not a staffed refuge.

The hut has 9 beds and 9 emergency places. It is staffed during summer months only. There are no meals, no running water, and no WiFi. Bring your own food and water. Winter access is possible but the hut is unstaffed and basic. Use it as a shelter point on longer traverses or as a base for day hikes in the area.

Note: Major renovation work begins 18 August 2025. Check availability before booking, as the hut may not be usable during construction. Book by email via rifugi.cai.it or contact the CAI directly. Reserve well in advance for July and August weekends.
