Rifugio Attilio Tissi sits at 2,250m in Val Civetta, beneath the east face of Civetta itself. Reach it from Fedare in about 2 hours via a well-marked trail. Most parties approach from the Ghedina valley trailhead near Colle Santa Lucia. The hut is the established base for Civetta ascents and serves hikers tackling the broader valley network.
The CAI manages 77 beds across multiple dormitories, with 16 emergency places. Half-board meals are served daily when staffed. Hot water, drinking water, and WiFi are available. The hut opens fully from June through September, with a winter room available for self-catering mountaineers in off-season.
