About
Rifugio Maddalene sits at 1,925m on the slopes of Monte Maddalene in the Dolomites. The hut serves as a base for hikers crossing the high plateaux between the Tre Cime and Tre Croci areas. Approach from Auronzo di Cadore takes 2–2.5 hours via marked trail CAI 105. The route gains 600m steadily through mixed forest before opening onto alpine meadow.
