Sella Ronda
The Sella Ronda is a circular route around the Sella massif, one of the most recognisable mountain groups in the Dolomites. In summer the circuit can be completed on foot over several days, linking trails and rifugios around the four Ladin valleys — Val Gardena, Val Badia, Arabba, and Val di Fassa. The hiking version covers roughly 55 kilometres with significant elevation gain, passing through alpine meadows, rocky passes, and beneath the vertical walls of the Sella towers. In winter, the Sella Ronda is famous as a ski circuit connecting four passes and dozens of lifts. Whether on foot or on skis, the route offers a complete panorama of the central Dolomites, including views of the Marmolada, Sassolungo, and Puez-Odle groups.
