Mihelčičev Lodge na Govejku

Mihelčičev Dom na Govejku sits at 727m in the foothills of the Slovenian Alps, above the village of Govje in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps region. The hut serves as a base for day walks through beech and spruce forest and access to the surrounding ridge network. Approach on foot from Govje village in roughly 1 hour, following marked PZS trails that climb steadily through forest to the lodge.

The hut is a simple mountain lodge with capacity for around 40 guests. It offers basic accommodation in shared rooms, hot meals, and drinks. The kitchen serves hearty Slovenian fare; book meals ahead. Water and toilet facilities are standard for a working hut at this elevation.
