Reach it in 2.5 hours from Saas-Fee village on a well-marked trail that climbs steadily through alpine meadow and rocky terrain. The hut anchors the Grünsee lakes circuit, a popular day-hike route that continues north across the Simplon Pass watershed. Access is hiking only; no cable car or mechanised transport reaches the hut.
