Bubenreuther Hut

The Bubenreuther Hütte sits at 950m in the Ötztal valley in Tyrol, making it a low-elevation base for walking rather than mountaineering. You reach it on foot from the Ötztal floor via a straightforward 1.5-hour hike through mixed forest. The hut works well as a starting point for day walks in the surrounding Ötztal hills and for longer routes deeper into the valley.
