Refuge de la Pointe Percée - Gramusset

Refuge de la Pointe Percée is at 2,164m on the north side of the Chaîne de Rochers, above the Vallée de Borne in Haute-Savoie. Most hikers approach from Gramusset (the hut is also called Refuge Gramusset). The walk from Gramusset village takes 3–4 hours. From Annecy or the northern Aravis, drive to Gramusset, then start on marked trails heading southeast. The final stretch gains 900m steadily but is well-signed. Winter access is difficult; check conditions before heading up outside summer.
The refuge holds 45 beds split across dormitories. Meals are available—the guardian prepares dinner and breakfast if you book ahead. Showers are on-site. There's no WiFi. It functions as a proper mountain base for loops into the higher peaks nearby: you can traverse to Lac de Puy or continue toward the Chaîne de Rochers. The hut is open June to September and during Easter week; outside these dates, contact FFCAM before visiting. The guardian is resident during the full season.
