Sogno Di Berdzé Al Péradzà

Sogno Di Berdzé Al Péradzà sits at 2,529m on the Chamonix side of Mont-Blanc. The hut is reached from Les Praz de Chamonix via the Mer de Glace valley; allow 4 hours for the walk. The route gains 1,500m and crosses glacier and scree—crampons and an ice axe are essential. Arriving before mid-afternoon is important because the glacier is safest earlier in the day and you'll have light to spare. Winter and spring access requires mountaineering experience and a guide.
The hut has 74 beds split across multiple rooms. Half-board is standard: dinner, breakfast, and lunch packs are included. The kitchen serves substantial mountain food; bring any dietary requirements when you book. Showers are available but hot water is limited—expect cold water in shoulder seasons. The hut has no WiFi or phone signal. The main season runs mid-June to mid-September. Winter opening depends on conditions and advance notice. The hut is managed and staffed year-round when open.
