The hut offers basic mountain hospitality with a small number of beds and dormitory space. Meals focus on hearty Bavarian fare—expect Kasnocken, Kaiserschmarrn, and local beer alongside coffee and lighter options. The kitchen prepares packed lunches if you order the night before. Stie-Alm operates seasonally, typically May through October, with capacity limited to around 30 guests. Facilities are simple: running water, basic toilets, and no shower. The hut runs on traditional lines without electricity or heating beyond wood stoves.

Book directly by email or phone as soon as your dates are firm—July and August fill quickly. Weekends in summer require booking at least 4–6 weeks ahead. The hut prefers direct contact over booking platforms. Confirm your arrival time and any dietary needs when you reserve. Payment is typically cash only; bring enough euros.
