rifugio Amici d'Armisola m.1624 (SO)
2.6About
The rifugio is modest: 40 beds split between dormitories and a few private rooms. Half-board is standard, with decent mountain cooking and reliable pasta. Cold showers. No wi-fi or phone signal inside, though you can get signal outside. The hut opens May through September. Weekends fill quickly in July and August, especially June when alpine flowers draw crowds.
Call ahead to book (phone number essential here). Book 4–6 weeks out for summer weekends. Midweek stays are usually available with less notice. The rifugio is managed by local volunteers, so expect direct, no-nonsense service. Pay in cash or card—confirm when you call.
