About
The rifugio has 34 beds split across several rooms. It serves hot meals at dinner and breakfast, with packed lunches available. Water comes from the mountain spring. The hut runs year-round, though verify opening dates before traveling in winter. Facilities include basic heating and a small common area where the keeper, Claudio Prada, can advise on conditions and route options in the surrounding valleys.
Contact the hut directly by email or phone to book. July and August fill quickly—reserve at least 6–8 weeks ahead for these months. May, June, and September see lighter demand. Weekends are busier than weekdays. The CAI Introbio section manages the rifugio; you can also book through rifugi.net or contact CAI directly if you encounter issues reaching the keeper.
