Refuge Alpe Campo

Rifugio Alpe Campo sits at 1,550m in the Piedmont Alps, accessed via the Val d'Aosta side of the region. The hut lies on the long-distance trail network connecting lower valleys to higher passes. Most hikers reach it in 2.5 to 3 hours from Alagna Valsesia, following marked paths through open pasture and larch forest. The rifugio operates year-round and offers 30 beds in basic shared rooms. Half-board is available; the kitchen serves straightforward mountain food. Water comes from the spring; there's no shower.
