About
The rifugio operates year-round and sleeps 40 guests in simple rooms with shared bathrooms. Meals are substantial—expect polenta, local cheese, and game in season. The kitchen caters to vegetarians if you specify when booking. Facilities include a small bar and a wood stove in the common room. Water comes direct from mountain springs. The location feels genuinely remote despite reasonable road access to the valley below.
Book directly by phone or email at least 4 weeks ahead for weekends and July–August. The hut fills quickly during summer months and autumn weekends. Winter access requires snowshoes or skis depending on conditions—contact ahead to confirm the route is safe. Day visitors are welcome, but phone ahead if you're arriving in a group larger than 10 people.
