About
The refuge holds 22 beds across simple rooms. Meals are available if you book ahead—expect straightforward mountain cooking rather than choice menus. There's no shower, but hot water is available. The hut operates year-round, though staffing is lighter in winter months; contact ahead if planning a visit outside summer. It's run by CAI Gravellona Toce, the local Alpine club section, so standards follow CAI guidelines.
Book directly by phone or email at least one week ahead, especially for weekends and July–August. Groups of six or more should aim for 2 weeks' notice. Half-board (bed and dinner) is standard; packed lunches can be arranged. The hut accepts cash and cards. For the most reliable response, call rather than email during peak season.
