About
The hut holds 60 beds in shared rooms. Meals are served daily during the season: half-board is standard, but you can buy lunches for day-walkers. Kitchen facilities are basic but functional. Water comes from mountain springs. The rifugio operates from late June through September; winter access is unreliable due to snow and avalanche risk. Expect crowds in July and August, especially on weekends.
Book directly through CAI Somma Lombardo or via rifugio.net. Reserve at least 4–6 weeks ahead for July and August weekends. Phone ahead if arriving outside standard meal times. The hut accepts cash and card; confirm payment methods when booking. Staff speak Italian and basic English.
