Access Routes
From Vallesinella via Rifugio Casinei and Rifugio Brentei
From the Vallesinella car park (1,513 m) above Madonna di Campiglio, climb to Rifugio Casinei, continue on trail 318 through the spectacular Val Brenta Alta to Rifugio Brentei, then take trail 323 up into the Sfulmini basin to the hut.
From Rifugio Brentei
Trail 323 climbs steadily from Rifugio Brentei (2,182 m) over rock slabs and moraine into the Busa degli Sfulmini — the final leg used by almost every hiker heading for the Bocchette Centrali.
Via delle Bocchette Centrali from Rifugio Pedrotti
Ferratists traverse the famous exposed ledges of trail 305 from Bocca di Brenta past the Campanile Basso to the Bocca degli Armi, then descend ladders and the Vedretta degli Sfulmini to the hut. Full via ferrata kit required.
