Drive to Cogne and follow the road to its end at Pont, then walk 2.5 hours up the Valnontey valley. The final stretch climbs steadily through larch forest before opening onto pasture where the hut appears. The hut holds 100 beds in shared and smaller rooms. Showers are available, which is worth noting for a hut at this elevation.
