About
This is a basic emergency shelter rather than a full hut. It has 6 beds and 6 emergency places. The CAI staffs it during summer months only. You'll find no meals, no water supply on-site, and no WiFi. Bring everything you need: food, water, a stove, and a torch. The bivouac works well as a base for mountaineering objectives in the area or as an overnight stop on longer routes through the Piave valley.
Book directly through rifugi.cai.it or email the CAI contact listed there. The hut fills during summer weekends and July holidays, so reserve at least 4 weeks ahead. In winter the hut is open but unmanned—you can shelter there for free in emergencies, but expect no services at all.
