About
The malga operates as a simple rifugio with 20 beds in shared rooms. Meals focus on traditional Veneto fare—expect polenta, local cheese, and hearty soups. The hut has no electricity or hot showers; water comes from a spring. It functions as a true mountain dairy, not a hotel. Open June through September only, depending on snow melt and weather. Book accommodation directly with the manager; spaces fill quickly in July and August.
Contact the hut or check with CAI Treviso for current opening dates and availability. Arrive early if you plan to stay during weekends. This is a working farm first, so expect basic comfort and flexibility with meal times. Bring a headtorch and warm layers even in summer—nights are cold at altitude.
