Lodge pod Javorjem

Dom pod Javorjem sits at 868m on the northern slopes of Javorje in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. The hut is accessible by car via a forest road from Luče village, roughly 1.5 hours' drive from Ljubljana. Most hikers approach on foot from Luče (about 2 hours) or from Solčava (3-4 hours), both marked trails through beech and spruce forest. The location makes it a practical base for exploring the Savinja Valley's middle elevations and ridge walks towards Oljka and the surrounding peaks.
The hut offers basic accommodation with simple rooms and a small capacity—check current bed numbers with the operator. Meals are served daily and cater to hikers' needs; order dinner in advance if arriving late. Water comes from a natural spring. The hut operates year-round but is quietest outside summer and autumn weekends. Wi-Fi and phone signal are limited.
