Alp Natons
2.9About
The hut is a modest working alpine dairy farm that also accommodates hikers. Capacity is around 30 beds in simple rooms. The kitchen serves hearty set meals—typically soup, main course, and coffee—using local produce and dairy from the farm. Self-catering is not available. Water comes from the spring. Basic facilities include toilets and washbasins. The hut operates summer only, typically June to September, depending on snow melt and weather.
Book direct by phone or in person during the season. Expect to find someone present most days, though calling ahead is essential. July and August are busy; aim to arrive by early afternoon or reserve a bed the night before. The hut is not SAC-affiliated and offers no winter facilities or emergency shelter.
