About
The rifugio is small and simple with just 6 beds across a handful of rooms. The owners cook evening meals and serve breakfast; you must bring or request packed lunches. The hut has no showers, no electricity beyond basic lighting, and no Wi-Fi. Water comes from a spring. It operates year-round but sees minimal traffic in winter—check conditions before attempting a winter ascent. Summer is the main season from June through September.
Book directly with the hut keeper by phone or post. Contact details are available through the alpine-huts.com listing. July and August weekends fill quickly; aim to book 3–4 weeks ahead for these periods. Weekday visits outside peak season are usually available with shorter notice. The hut sits on SAC hiking routes but is not affiliated with the Swiss Alpine Club.
