About
The hut is small and austere—a working mountain shelter, not a destination in itself. It has around 20 beds in basic dormitories and a tiny kitchen where the guardians cook simple evening meals and breakfast. Water comes from a spring. The hut runs from June through September; outside these months it closes completely. There are no showers and the toilet is a standard alpine outhouse. Food is limited to what's served at meals; bring snacks for day walks.
Book directly by calling ahead or arrive without reservation outside peak season. July and August weekends fill fast—call at least one week ahead. The hut belongs to CAI Bergamo; members get no discount. Payment is cash only. The nearest resupply is in Olmo al Brembo, so arrive with everything you need.
