Cabin Soveltra

Capanna Soveltra sits at 1534m in the Ticino Alps, accessible from the Valle Verzasca. The hut lies on hiking routes connecting the lower valleys to higher alpine terrain. Most parties reach it in 2–3 hours from trailheads below, making it a solid first-night stop or base for day walks in the region.
The hut sleeps 28 across mixed dormitories. Meals are served daily—book your dinner in advance when you reserve beds. Drinking water is available on-site. There is no self-catering kitchen, so come prepared to eat what the hut provides or bring food for packed lunches. The hut operates year-round, though winter access depends on snow conditions and daylight hours are short.
