About
The Huberhütte sits at 2,033m in the Schiefer Alps above the Mölltal valley in Carinthia. Reach it from Bad Kleinkirchheim or the village of Möllbruck. The standard approach takes 3–3.5 hours from Bad Kleinkirchheim via the Nöring pass trail, gaining 1,100m steadily through forest then alpine meadow. From Möllbruck the route is shorter but steeper. The hut marks a junction point for ridge walks toward Hochrindl (2,359m) and traverses across the Schiefer Alps toward the Fölz valley.
The hut is run by the Austrian Alpine Club (OeAV) and offers 50 beds in mixed and private rooms. Half-board is standard; dinners are solid mountain fare, breakfasts substantial.
