Jausenstation Raineralm
2.4About
This is a simple mountain inn rather than an overnight hut. It serves as a refueling point for day hikers and ridge walkers crossing the Raineralm. Expect hearty Alpine food—schnitzel, kaiserschmarrn, regional cheese and bread. The hut operates a small dining room and terrace with views north toward Unken. Opening hours run May through October, weather dependent. Capacity is modest; it's not designed as a shelter for groups. Water and toilets are available.
Book ahead for weekends and school holidays, especially July and August, by emailing directly. The hut operates on a walk-in basis during quieter periods but can reach capacity by mid-morning on fine weather days. Call or email the day before if you're planning to visit on a Saturday or Sunday. Arrival by mid-afternoon ensures a table and full menu selection.
