This is a seasonal Jausenstation rather than an alpine-club hut: it opens only in winter when snow conditions allow, serving warm food and drinks to tobogganists and walkers who climb the run. It is run under the Tourismusverband Inneres Salzkammergut. It is reached on foot in about 40 minutes (around 300 m of ascent) from the Parkplatz Trockentann, where parking and free sledge rental are available at the valley car park. For safety, the toboggan run is closed to descents around midday and early evening when the operators drive up the track.
