Chalet de Landron
2.5About
Chalet de Landron operates as a full refuge under FFCAM management. It has 40 places in dorm rooms and serves evening meals and breakfast. The refuge stocks limited supplies; bring snacks and water-treatment tablets if you're continuing into the high peaks. The main season runs June through October. Winter visits are possible but require prior arrangement with the guardian, and you must be self-sufficient for heating and cooking.
Book direct with FFCAM Chamonix section or contact the hut guardian 4–6 weeks ahead for July and August. Single nights are possible outside high season. The refuge is a proper working mountain hut, not a tourist stop; expect basic facilities and a working atmosphere. Bring your own sleeping bag and toiletries. The nearest reliable resupply is in Chamonix, so plan accordingly if you're making longer traverses.
