Habert des Jarlons
2.0About
The hut is small and straightforward: basic dormitory beds, no private rooms. Meals are simple mountain fare—expect hearty soup, bread, and modest protein. Water comes from a spring; the building dates from the 1950s and requires self-sufficiency in mind. It opens roughly June to September, depending on snow and maintenance. Check current status before planning, as staffing and opening dates vary. The atmosphere is quiet and local rather than busy.
Contact the FFCAM (Fédération Française des Clubs Alpins et de Montagne) Isère section directly to book and confirm opening dates. Advance booking is essential even outside summer—aim for 2–3 weeks minimum. July and August weekends fill quickly. The hut does not take online reservations, so telephone or email is necessary. Bring a sleeping bag; they do not provide bedding.
