About
The cabin sleeps 9 people across dormitory-style bunks. A guardian operates the hut from June through September and provides dinner and breakfast by advance request. There is no running water, shower, or flush toilet—bring a headlamp and plan accordingly. The cabin offers basic mountain shelter: a wood stove for heating, cooking facilities, and cooking gas. Bring your own water bottles and water treatment tablets. This is genuine mountain hut accommodation, not a staffed refuge with full services.
Book directly with the hut keeper in spring for summer visits. July and August fill fast—contact by late May if you plan to arrive during peak season. The hut operates on a reservation system only. Outside the summer season, the cabin is unmaintained and unguarded. Check current access conditions with Parc National de la Vanoise before departure, particularly in early June when snow patches often persist on the approach.
