Refuge Antonioli

Rifugio Antonioli stands at 1,785m in the Bergamasc Alps of Lombardy, in the upper Val Seriana. The hut sits on the trail network between Piazzatorre and the Presolana massif. Most hikers reach it in 2–2.5 hours from Piazzatorre, following marked paths through mixed forest and meadow. You can also approach via the Presolana ridge in similar time, depending on your starting point. The location works well as a base for day walks or as a stage on longer ridge traverses in the region.

The rifugio is small and traditional, with space for around 40 guests. Half-board (dinner and breakfast) is standard; packed lunches are available on request. The kitchen serves straightforward mountain food—expect polenta, pasta, and local cheese. Facilities include dormitory beds, a few private rooms, and basic hot water. The hut stays open year-round, though it closes some weeks in shoulder seasons. Winter access depends on snow conditions; contact ahead if visiting November to March.
