About
The rifugio has 24 beds split across simple shared rooms. Meals are provided—half-board or full-board only, no room-only bookings. The kitchen prepares regional Piedmont food and caters well to vegetarian diets if you notify them when booking. Water comes from a spring; the hut has no shower. The CAI-managed hut runs year-round but is busiest from June through September and on weekends. Winter access depends on snow conditions.
Book by phone directly with the hut well ahead for July and August—aim for at least 6 weeks minimum. Contact them to confirm current opening dates and to arrange meals. Weekday visits outside peak season are easiest to arrange on shorter notice. The hut is popular with local CAI members, so summer weekends fill quickly.
