Bato de Valvassoi

Bato de Valvassoi sits at 1,922m in the Dolomites, accessible via the Val di Fassa. The hut has 40 beds spread across shared dorm rooms and a few private doubles. Meals are solid mountain fare: three-course dinners featuring local specialties, packed lunches available for order, and a basic breakfast. The kitchen operates year-round, though staffing drops significantly outside July and August. You'll find hot showers, a drying room for wet gear, and a small bar. The building is functional rather than polished—expect basic comfort at altitude.
