About
The bivouac has 12 beds and space for 12 more in emergencies. Expect a wood stove, cooking pots, and an outside water fountain. This is basic shelter: no meals, no drinking water system, no electricity or WiFi. The hut is staffed during summer months; outside that season it remains open but unstaffed—bring your own sleeping bag and food. Self-catering only.
Book through the Veneto CAI section (San Donà di Piave) via rifugi.cai.it or direct contact. Phone and email options are listed on the CAI website. For summer visits (June–September) book at least 4 weeks ahead. Winter visits require planning: confirm access conditions and heating availability before you go.
