The hut holds 34 beds across the main building and a winter room with 2 emergency spaces. It was renovated in 2005 and runs with full staffing from June through September, serving meals daily and offering showers and reliable drinking water. It stays open weekends outside the summer season but unstaffed. There is no WiFi.
