Tannhütte NFS

Tannhütte sits at 1,231m in the Fläsch valley above Triesen, accessible via the Alpenverein trail from the village. The walk takes 1.5 hours from Triesen and gains 350m through mixed forest to reach the hut. It serves as a base for day trips into the surrounding limestone terrain and connects to other valley trails on the eastern side of Liechtenstein's Alps. The location makes it useful for winter shoe and summer hiking across the accessible ridges and side valleys.
Tannhütte is a working farm building that doubles as a simple hut. The LAV manages the facility, which sleeps around 20 people in basic dormitory arrangements. Meals focus on hearty local fare and strong coffee. The hut operates year-round, though staffing can be irregular in winter months. There is no shower. The building retains a working-farm character—expect animals on the property and genuine mountain hospitality rather than hotel-style service.

The hut fills quickly during the short summer hiking season when the weather is stable.
