Winter access depends on snow conditions and avalanche risk—check with PZS before planning a winter trip.
Book directly by calling ahead, especially for groups larger than four people or if you're coming in peak season. July and August require booking at least 4 weeks in advance. The hut occasionally closes for maintenance outside summer months, so confirm opening dates before you go.
