Koča na Planini Razor sits at 1,315m on Planina Razor, a high pasture in the western Julian Alps above the Tolminc River valley. Reach it from Tolmin in 3 hours via the marked trail through Tolminc Gorge, or from Kobarid in 2.5 hours. The hut is the base for walks across the Razor plateau and climbs to Krn (2,244m) and Mrežce (1,818m). Most hikers approach from the Tolminc side, which is steeper but more direct.
The PZS-managed hut run by PD Tolmin offers 88 beds in shared rooms. Meals are available daily; book in advance if you want dinner. Water comes from a spring.
