Češka Hut na Spodnjih Ravneh

Češka Hut sits at 1,542m on Spodnje Ravne in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. Approach from Jezersko village (about 850m) takes 2.5 to 3 hours on a well-marked trail through mixed forest. The hut lies on the main hiking route between Jezersko and higher peaks in the range, making it a logical basecamp or overnight stop. The location offers access to surrounding ridges and peaks without extreme altitude gain.

The hut holds 76 beds across multiple rooms. Meals are available daily during the season—expect simple, hearty Alpine fare. Basic facilities include a dining room, kitchen, and water supply. There's no WiFi, so plan on genuine disconnection. The hut operates year-round, though winter access depends on snow conditions; confirm opening dates before visiting November through March. PZS and the local Jezersko mountaineering club manage the facility to standard hut standards.

Book direct by phone or email through PZS Jezersko. Weekends and July–August fill quickly; reserve at least 2 weeks ahead for summer weekends. June and September see lighter traffic. Half-board (bed plus dinner and breakfast) is standard. Bring cash for payment unless you've arranged otherwise when booking—card facilities are limited.
